Many people with chronic health conditions or individuals who have been working hard on their metabolic health all year long are anticipating the festive season with mixed feelings.
On the one hand, it’s a magical time of the year to get together with friends and family. On the other hand, though, we can be a bit anxious and concerned what all the social events will bring. Will we “fall off the wagon” and start from scratch again in January?
You’re not the only one feeling like this but help is at hand!
In September, we had a fantastic 3-day workshop on metabolic health and I know for a fact that so many participants have taken incredible action. But now it’s time to learn how to enjoy special events like Christmas (but there are many others in other cultures- all year round!) where keeping to a routine is not an option.
Our knowledge and confidence in our food choices have to be solid enough that we can “improvise” and be creative. I’ve had many opportunities in the past ten years to hone these “skills” (also the social ones!) and I’d love to share some of these with you.
My goal with this workshop over two days is to keep you on track (or get you there if you’re completely new to metabolic health and the work I do!) so that you enjoy the festive season (and any other future ones) without guilt, overwhelm and metabolic meltdowns.
